Thoroughly clean and dry surface to which decal will be applied. Rubbing alcohol works best for this. Do not use Windex or similar products because they leave a residue behind that will interfere with adhesion. Do not apply in cold or wet weather.
Remove decal from packaging and measure against application surface to ensure correct placement as it can’t be adjusted once applied.
Rub the top surface of the decal with a credit card or burnishing tool. This helps decal adhere to clear mask sheet. Pay particular attention to the interior and exterior edges, and points of the graphic.
Carefully and slowly, peel off clear mask sheet along with decal from the backing (white or blue paper). If sections of the decal are still adhering to the backing, lay mask sheet back down and burnish again until entire decal lifts with mask sheet.
Gently place decal and clear mask sheet against application surface.
Working from one side to the other, rub the top surface of the mask sheet and decal with a credit card or burnishing tool. Pay particular attention to the interior and exterior edges, and points of the graphic.
Slowly peel back the mask sheet from the corner closest to the front of the design element using the burnishing tool to secure any vinyl that is not completely attached to the intended surface. If part of the decal starts to peel off with the mask sheet, burnish and peel from the opposite direction until the mask sheet is removed.
